About this compound
SUPER Shred is a sterile lipotropic research solution combining L-carnitine, an MIC complex (methionine, inositol, choline), ATP and vitamin B12. Each mL carries 551 mg of compounds studied in fat metabolism, liver lipid transport and cellular energy. For research use only.
Formula (per mL)
| Compound | Amount per mL | Research category |
|---|---|---|
| L-Carnitine | 400 mg | Fatty-acid transport, cellular energy |
| MIC complex (methionine, inositol, choline) | 100 mg | Lipotropic, liver lipid export, methyl donors |
| ATP (adenosine triphosphate) | 50 mg | Cellular energy, purinergic signaling |
| Vitamin B12 | 1 mg | Methylation cofactor |
| Total | 551 mg |
How the formula is studied
The formula targets three connected steps in how cells handle fat:
- Fat transport into mitochondria: L-carnitine carries long-chain fatty acids across the inner mitochondrial membrane, where they are oxidized for energy.
- Fat export from the liver: the MIC complex supplies lipotropic nutrients. Choline, as phosphatidylcholine, is involved in moving lipids out of the liver. Methionine is a methyl donor, and inositol is a building block of cell-signaling phospholipids.
- Energy and methylation: ATP is the cell's main energy currency and also signals outside the cell through purinergic receptors. Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin or cyanocobalamin) is a cofactor for methionine synthase, linking it to the methionine and choline pathways.
